Otegi and head of Basque nationalist trade union LAB, Rafael Diez Usabiaga were sentenced to ten years in prison by Spain's Audencia Nacional court on Friday for belonging to armed pro Basque group ETA, in reference to meetings held to attempt to re-form Batasuna via the group Bateragune.
